Hannappel creates Building Engineering software for the design of lighting, power, fire-detection, ventilation (HVAC), fire alarms etc. Another product line design raceways for routing numerous cables through larger buildings. Their software products simplify the complex process of designing these systems to regional codes, while saving costs through efficient design.

Integration

Program Managed the integration of this software business. Set up the program and coordinating with development, professional services, facilities management, customer and IT.

Significant issues included

• Re-prioritizing the product development, so that the products were embedded within larger application
• Moving the software development from Germany to China
• Empowering the acquiring business' Sales teams to effectively sell the products
