Cross Country Healthcare acquired Medical Staffing Network (MSN ), both of South Florida. The acquisition integration of MSN into Cross Country Healthcare, strengthened its position as a leading healthcare staffing agency: they place Travel Nursing, Locum Tenen short and long term doctors, Allied per diem care and technical support staff, and Vendor Managed Services (VMS) programs for hospital facilities.

Medical Staffing Network (MSN), a member of the Cross Country Staffing family, is one of the largest and most recognized healthcare staffing companies in the country. At the time of the acquisition, it had 55 locations throughout the U.S. that provided per diem staffing, local, contract, travel, and permanent hire staffing services for the healthcare industry, with unaudited revenues of $229 million.

Integration

Engaged to set up and Program Manage the integration merger of the two separate IT departments into a single department. Teams on both sides covered IT hardware, business applications, storage, telecommunications, customer support and facilities IT for the whole of the USA.

We successfully set up the IT integration program, the integration procedures, mentored and monitored 21 IT integration projects. We also worked with all functional groups across the organization, outside the IT department e.g. Finance, HR, Development.
